2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV
The Chevrolet Bolt EUV takes all the best features of the Bolt EV hatch and turns it into a compact SUV. For the 2023 model year, the Bolt EUV gains a new Redline Edition Package for the LT and Premier trims, which adds gloss black exterior trim with a red stripe. Other than this update, the all-electric crossover carries over to 2023 without any updates. Here's a look at some details for the latest Bolt EUV.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Bolt EUV comes in two well-equipped trim levels. The base LT has 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated side exterior mirrors, LED taillights, and remote keyless entry. Add the Convenience Package for 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, or step up to the Premier and these wheels come standard. The Premier also adds chrome and gloss black exterior trim elements, and you can add the Sun & Sound Package for a panoramic sunroof. The Redline Edition Package gives the Bolt EUV a sporty look with 17-inch gloss black wheels and black and red exterior badging.
Engine (Power)
Power for the Bolt EUV comes from an all-electric powertrain. The electric motor generates 200 horsepower and works with front-wheel drive. The regenerative braking system allows the driver to use just one pedal and capture the energy to help extend the battery's range. It even has different levels of regeneration, so you can decide how much to use.
Performance
The ride in the Bolt EUV stays smooth and comfortable over most roads. Acceleration is instant as soon as you step on the pedal, and the motor will propel the small SUV up to 60 mph in just 6.8 seconds. The Bolt EUV is small and easy to handle, and the suspension does a good job of smoothing out rough pavement. With a fully charged battery, you can go up to 247 miles, and you can charge the battery using a standard outlet or DC fast charging.
Interior
There's room for five in the Bolt EUV. It comes standard with cloth upholstery, manually-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and ambient interior lighting. A power-adjustable driver's seat is available, along with leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. Technology features include a 10.2-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging. A six-speaker stereo comes standard, but a premium Bose stereo is optional for the Premier trim.
Safety Feature
Both the 2023 Bolt EUV trims come with several safety assist features. These include a forward collision warning system, automatic braking, the Safe Teen Driver system, a rear seat reminder, and lane-departure warning. Automatic high-beam headlights are also standard. The Driver Confidence Package adds parking sensors, a blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert. The Premier adds to these systems with a digital rearview mirror, a surround-view camera system, parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control, and it makes the blind-spot monitor standard. Add the Super Cruise Package for a hands-free adaptive cruise control system and an upgraded version of the automatic emergency braking system.
