Trim Levels (Exterior)
You can get the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer in four trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS. The LS rolls down the road on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the LT adds heated outside mirrors, LED fog lights, roof rails, and tinted rear windows to the base level. The Activ is designed for off-road adventures with off-road-ready tires and underbody skid plates. You also get a tow hitch receiver, unique exterior styling elements, and a two-tone roof on the Activ.
The RS has 18-inch alloy wheels with standard tires. Packages for the Trailblazer let you add a panoramic sunroof, hands-free liftgate, and LED headlights for the ultimate SUV.
Engine (Power)
There are two engines available for the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer. The first is the base turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. This combination delivers 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. A stronger turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder is also available, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission for 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Chevy knows that performance-enhancing features can make the most monotonous daily drive more enjoyable. Front-wheel drive is standard on the Trailblazer LS and LT, with all-wheel drive available when paired with the 1.3-liter engine. All-wheel drive is standard on the Activ and RS to provide you with better control over various weather and road conditions. Customize your ride with the drive modes to match the road or driver preference. Options include Normal, Sport, and All-Wheel. You can also tow up to 1,000 pounds with the 2022 Trailblazer, allowing you to bring along some fun on your adventures.
Interior
You'll notice a combination of comfort and convenience upon entering the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The LS has a fold-flat front passenger seat, Wi-Fi hot spot, a six-speaker sound system, and a 7-inch touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The LT adds proximity keyless entry and push-button ignition, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and heated front seats. On the Activ, you get simulated leather upholstery, a rear-seat center armrest, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and a heated steering wheel. The RS adds red interior accents for a unique appearance.
Various packages allow you to add an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear-seat USB charge ports, automatic climate control, a household-style outlet, wireless phone charging, an 8-inch touch screen, and a Bose premium audio system.
Safety Features
When it comes to safety, Chevy knows it's at the top of every driver's list and has added many safety and driver-assistance features to the latest Trailblazer. Standard features include forward collision mitigation, automatic high beams, lane-keeping assist, and an advanced air bag system. Other features include a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and a high-resolution rearview camera.
